Secret 2 - What kind of women are looking for partners abroad?

Viewing hundreds and thousands profiles of Russian women on the Web, one inevitably asks himself what kind of people those women are.
Even before I entered the scene of dating business, I had a feeling those women who are looking for partners abroad are very special. Soon after my marriage I was interviewed by Cosmo, and one of the questions was if I would advise other Russian women to go my way. I answered straight away that not all Russian women are capable of doing that, because it requires serious intellectual and emotional efforts. The ones who try to find somebody abroad are above average in the sense of education and maturity; and the ones who managed to successfully complete their venture are truly standing out. My meetings with Russian women married to foreigners proved me right.
It takes guts to start searching for a match abroad. It is not easy to acknowledge that you have failed in the
"normal" way of finding a partner, and have to advertise yourself or apply to people you don't know. It's even more difficult to turn your hopes to an unknown country, understanding all cultural and language problems that are awaiting for you ahead.
I started to think about finding a partner abroad when I was 26, and it took me 3 years to begin. I was trying to find somebody using local personals, but it was a total disaster. All guys who answered my ad were weird, or complete idiots, and tried to get me into bed on the first date. Half of them happened to be married! I tried to answer men's ads, and the result was not any better. Only one guy who came to the date was really nice, intelligent, well mannered and - single! At the end of the date he said I was a wonderful woman and it was exactly what he was looking for. His friend was in love with a married woman who was cheating on him, and just using him for his money. They, his friends, are worried about him, and want some nice lady to get him out of his dreadful romance. He asked me if I would be willing to do that, they couldn't stand seeing his friend so badly hurt.
Well, this was the last grit. I believe most of the women advertising on the Internet have a similar story to tell.
Being in the international dating business for a while, I can now say for sure: Russian women who are looking for partners abroad are very special. They are more educated, intelligent and mature than an average Russian female. Also, Internet agencies introduce only the most attractive ladies, so when you browse personals you see the best of the bests.
I made a research basing on the questionnaires of 500 Russian women seeking for partners abroad. The data have been received through Internet as well as regular mail directly from women. The questionnaires have not been sorted by appearance or another criteria.
So, what kind of women are seeking partners abroad? Let's view the figures.

After the final scores the figures amazed me. The reality was above all my expectations. About 90% of women who are looking for a foreign match have college or university degree! More than 90% know English at some extent, and from them more than 70% are able to
communicate in the language! About 20% know a second foreign language! Most of women are professionals, and some work in lower level because of money matters (like a medical doctor working in sales). Those ladies are pure gold!
Partially data were taken from women's letters that came through the regular mail, and it's why some information is missing. It is also
interesting to see what kind of data women forgot to mention. Virtually all of them told about their marital status and presence of children; and almost all - about their education. 5% omitted their occupation and knowledge of English, though usually letters are in English (they might have been translated by somebody else though). The most often omitted information is about their religious views, and it proves that Russians in general do not pay much attention to this subject; even the ones who specified being Christians usually are not practicing.
Regarding women's marital status, in the age groups 18-25 and 26-35 the majority of women are single, in the age groups 36-45 most women are divorced, and in the age group 46+ half of the women are divorced and half are widowed. Women over 30 usually have 1 child.
I hope now you have a better idea what kind of women are looking for foreign men.
